Pleasant Sunday temps; shower chance in northern Minnesota and NW Wisconsin

Aug 06, 2023Aug 06, 2023

Comfortable dew points

A high pressure system centered over Lake Superior caused light winds early Sunday morning. The light winds allowed areas of dense fog to develop in parts of northeastern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin, but that fog will continue to burn off this morning.

An upper level disturbance has spawned scattered showers in mainly the northern third of Minnesota this Sunday morning. Some of those scattered showers could drift into parts of central Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin later this morning into early afternoon.

Additional scattered showers and an isolated thunderstorm are possible in northern Minnesota later Sunday afternoon and Sunday evening. Parts of northwestern Wisconsin could also see a passing shower Sunday evening.
